DMCA & Copyright Policy details
01Our position
livestreams4u operates as a licensed content distributor and carries content it is authorised to retransmit. Where a rights holder believes content carried on our service infringes their rights, we want to hear about it directly and resolve it quickly.
We do not require a court order to act on a valid notice. A clear, good-faith notice from a rights holder or their authorised agent is sufficient.
02How to submit a notice
Send your notice to support@livestreams4u.com with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. It reaches a person, not a filter. To let us act without a round trip, please include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the specific material on our service — the exact channel name or content title, as it appears in our lineup. Generic descriptions delay action because we cannot identify what to remove.
- Your contact details: name, organisation, address, telephone and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
03What happens next
We acknowledge valid notices within 2 business days and typically action them faster. Where a notice clearly identifies the material, we remove or disable access to it promptly and notify you when it is done.
If a notice is unclear or incomplete, we will come back to you specifically about what is missing rather than rejecting it outright. We would rather resolve it than trade letters.
04Counter-notices
If material has been removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. It should identify the removed material and where it appeared, include your contact details and signature, and state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification.
We will forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant. If they do not notify us of legal action within the statutory period, we may restore the material.
05Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of subscribers and resellers who are repeat infringers of copyright, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion. Restreaming or redistributing content carried on our service is a breach of our terms and ends the subscription without refund.
06Misrepresentation
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, under applicable law. Please be certain before you file.
07Subscribers: what this means for you
Occasionally a channel disappears from the lineup because a rights holder asked us to remove it. When that happens we will say so plainly rather than pretending it is a technical fault, and we will point you at the closest equivalent we carry.
Recording, capturing or restreaming content from the service is not permitted and puts your subscription at risk. If you are unsure whether something you want to do is acceptable, ask us first.
Rights-holder contact
Notices, questions and licensing enquiries all reach the same inbox and are read by a person. Mark the subject line “DMCA Notice” and we will prioritise it accordingly.
